Communication: Part 1

Well, I sometimes wonder if men and women are really meant to cohabitate or even date.
Men think we're weird when we just want to ask a question.
Women think men are mean when they get annoyed at them.

Men like violence...they like women to be quiet...they don't want us to voice our opinions...women like to try and make men happy.

Let's see...how many more can I continue with before we start doubting every relationship we know?!

Oh well, any ideas on how to cohabitate?  I want to stay hopeful for a good relationship with a man that I chose to date...

The Ex

Why do I have such a hard time with exes? I can't seem to figure it out. Am I the only one?
I get this significant twinge every time I see one or hear about one. Why don't I get the twinge when I see him flirting with a new girl? That doesn't really bother me...but the ex...

GOP: Deny life-saving abortions

Check out how they want to make life-saving abortions illegal.

Republicans in Congress are pushing a bill that would allow hospitals to let a pregnant woman die rather than perform a life-saving abortion. It's reprehensible - and that's only one piece of an overall Republican war on women's health.

Another bill would effectively prevent women from using their own money to purchase insurance that includes abortion coverage in the new insurance exchanges, among other things. Rep. Carolyn Maloney called it "the deepest attack on a woman's right to choose in my lifetime.

We have got to stop the GOP war on women's health and the right to choose. I signed a petition urging Congress to oppose these attacks. Can you join me at the link below?

I can't talk! Day 23...

I have been dealing with no voice for day 23 now!!
My Laryngitis is REALLY bad this year and I am really struggling with this whole deal...GRHHH!!!!
How can I work with NO VOICE?!!!!!!

14 days with a sore throat

Ok, after 3 years I'm back...
and after 14 days with a sore throat I'm pissed. I'm even gargling with lidocaine - yup - craziness.
My parents are great for letting me live here...

Also, I'm now working on my Private Investigator license ... more chronicles of that to come!

Nightmare.....

I stopped dead in my tracks and sucked in my breath.....I don't know what I thought was worse, knowing I had to pass by it or knowing I already had (I noticed it on my way back through). This is what I get for snooping around corners.
Then, knowing that the inevitable had to happen - I crossed by that monstrosity - and to make it worse..... with my BACKPACK behind me.

Does anyone feel my pain - or rather, HIGH FIVE FOR KELLY FOR NOT NEEDING A PAPER BAG to breathe in afterwards.....
